Our Breeding Philosopy:
Cows That Milk And Last


Our goal is to breed Guernseys that have plenty of strength, along with dairyness, and a great will to milk.

Those cows making us the most money are those that are four, five and six years old, still in the herd, and still giving us offspring. To stay in the herd, cows must be good milk cows, and they have to do it on their own.

Every cow is individually mated. Sires are selected based on cow families. We use sires that are supported by a maternal line with excellent type, along with high components.

We are strong believers in using young sires. Here are three recent examples of why:
