Nestled in the gentle rolling meadows of south central Wisconsin, Gurn-Z Meadow is a 120-acre farm with 100 head of purebred, registered Guernseys.
The foundation for our herd was begun in 1945 when Curtis Orchard left Golden Guernsey Dairy to begin the “Happy Acres” herd. Nearly every animal in our current herd goes back to the Happy Acres bloodlines. We maintain a closed herd for biosecurity reasons, which means every animal on the farm is homebred.
We invite you to explore our Web site using the links at the left. If you would like more information on any of the animals featured, please call us at 608.876.6083 or drop us an e-mail at gurnzmeadow@gmail.com.
Thank your for visiting the Gurn-Z Meadow virtual farm! Enjoy yourself and we encourage you to visit us during the 2008 National Guernsey Convention. We look forward to seeing you! |
